— terms of service
Last updated May 15, 2026. By using Nooklo you agree to these terms. We'll keep them short.
Nooklo is an iOS application operated by Nooklo. It lets you see when your friends are studying and share synced focus sessions with them. The service is provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind.
You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens on your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access by emailing hello@nooklo.com. You must be at least 13 years old to use Nooklo.
Don't use Nooklo to harass other users, impersonate anyone, attempt to access another person's account, scrape data, reverse-engineer the app, or violate any applicable law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.
Reflection notes, subjects, and other text you enter are yours. You grant us a limited license to store and display this content back to you — that's the only way the app works. We will not display your private reflections to anyone else.
Nooklo's current version is free. A paid tier (Nooklo Plus) may be introduced in a future release. If it is, current free features will remain free; only new premium features will be gated behind the subscription. Apple's App Store payment terms apply to any paid plans.
You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we close the service entirely, we'll give users reasonable notice and an opportunity to export their data.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Nooklo and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Some jurisdictions don't allow this, so this may not apply to you.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaiʻi, USA, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi.
We may update these terms occasionally. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date and let you know in-app.
